CHRISTMAS PARTY!
On Tuesday December 20, El Centro de las Americas will be celebrating Christmas and giving toys away to families in need. From 3 to 6 p.m. we will be enjoying some music, food, activities for kids and the visit of Santa Claus!

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
El Centro de las Américas is seeking an Executive Director. The director’s responsibilities will include the procurement and administration of major grants including extensive grant writing; fundraising efforts in the private and public sector; day-to-day project management; oversight of operational concerns; staff management and development; and collaboration with partner agencies, foundations, private donors, board members and other entities. Fluency in Spanish is required. An ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven history of successful non-profit grant acquisition and fiscal management, strong leadership and people skills, and networking/community visibility. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years’ experience in the non-profit sector; prior management experience is preferred.
